What started as a vineyard dream has grown into a recognised name in small-batch winemaking, known for crafting expressive wines that reflect the richness of the region and the resilience of the vines.

Our first vines were planted by hand on a bare ridge just east of Toolleen, with a vision to produce wines that could stand confidently on the world stage.

Over the years, we’ve expanded thoughtfully — building a state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery and nurturing a wide range of varieties, from Heathcote’s beloved Shiraz to Mediterranean grapes like Fiano, Vermentino and Nero d’Avola.

More than two decades on, we continue to focus on crafting wines of purity, personality, and place — wines that speak of the land and the people behind them.

The Tellurian vineyard sits on the famed red Cambrian earth of Heathcote — mineral-rich soils formed more than 500 million years ago. This rare geology, combined with our warm days, cool nights, and long growing season, provides ideal conditions for producing wines with intensity, structure, and remarkable balance.

We farm organically and with care, using vertical shoot positioning (VSP) across our vineyard blocks to encourage even ripening and healthy canopies. With low vine densities and minimal irrigation, each vintage is a pure expression of site and season.

Our winemaking philosophy follows the same ethos — considered, minimal intervention, and designed to let the fruit speak. We vinify in small batches, ferment with select whole bunches where appropriate, and age thoughtfully in a mix of stainless steel, amphora, and oak. The result is a range of wines that are layered, textured, and built to evolve.
