2024 The Corovian Red
The Corovian is inspired by the great blended reds of the southern Rhône, bringing together Grenache, Carignan and Mourvèdre to create a wine built on balance, texture and savoury complexity. Grenache provides bright red fruit and warmth, Carignan contributes structure and vibrant acidity, while Mourvèdre adds depth, spice and earthy character. Together they form a classic Rhône-inspired style that thrives in Heathcote’s ancient soils. Expect aromas of ripe raspberry, plum and dark cherry layered with subtle spice, dried herbs and earthy undertones. The palate is supple yet structured, with juicy red and black fruits, savoury spice and fine tannins leading to a long, textured finish.
